🚶‍♀️💙 CLUB WALKATHON 🤍🚶‍♂️

Calling on all our members, families and supporters to get involved in our upcoming Walkathon fundraiser!

A great chance to get together, have a bit of fun and raise much-needed funds for the club. 🙌🏻💰💪🏼

Teams have been allocated hourly slots from 7am-7pm but we encourage any member of the wider community that would like to come down and take part to come whenever suits 😊 The Walkathon is open to all 🙌🏻

Hurling skills activities will take place from 3pm-6pm on the main pitch. This will be run by adult players so come down and get involved! 👌🏻💪🏼

💙 U8s out in Force! 💙

📢 Match Report.
On Saturday 12th September, our little warriors lined out against Boardsmill and Dunderry and although it was a wet start at Dunderry GAA Grounds, it didn't dampen the spirits of our 14 strong U8 team 💪🏼

🌟Finley Dunne was in every scuttle in the mid-field and gave it all he had. Harry Kelly showed great grit and superb workrate against Boardsmill players, winning countless battles in defence and driving the sliotar up the pitch to his team mates. Dáithí Barrett stepped onto the field with determination in his eye and it showed with every sliotar that came his way.

👌🏻The coaches had asked all the boys to keep the hurls in their hands at home and keep practicing their skills. It was clearly evident throughout both matches that they took them at their word, Barrett in particular gave an exhibition of hurling skill! Pass after pass the Kildalkey boys were trying to pick the sliotar and get the game moving in the air.

🙌🏻 Keep up the practice lads, every week the skill set is growing.

📢 This weekends matches 🙌🏻

First up, Friday evening, the Intermediates take on Wolfe Tones in Moylagh.

Sunday morning it's semi-final time for the Junior hurlers as they head to Drumree hoping to come away with that all important win and secure their spot in the JHC Final. 💪🏼

Finally, Sunday afternoon concludes the group stages of the SHC as Kildalkey come up against Kilmessan with Throw-In at 3pm.
