Unfortunately Yesterday concluded my playing days in the JDC, for me personally its extremely hard to take but its something I need to learn to accept.
Unfortunately to the back end of 2024 and through the 2025 season I have been battling with technical issues in my game ones who are within the game and are close to me will know what this is and they have been supporting me which i greatly appreciate, obviously these issues dont help me in the slightest but I don't use this as an excuse I just see it as not being good enough.
As well as this ive been battling with issues on and off the oche during 2025 physically with injuries and mental issues also, I will be looking to work alongside people over the summer break to help fix these issues to get me ready for the 25/26 season and also trying to fix these issues on and off the oche during the process.
Enough about me Individualy I would like to take a moment to thank you all for your support on social media over the past year it means the absolute world to me, also a massive thank you to all involved with the JDC in particular all involved within the JDC Belfast i couldn't have achieved what I have achieved without them a massive credit to Taylor, Chris, and Fiona on the success with the academy in just over a year of the academy existing they deserve massive credit for all of their hard work. Also I want to say a massive thank you to Tommy and Christine for travelling with me to Gibraltar I couldn't have done it without them. Also I would like to say a massive thank you to my sponsors Laganview Arms Demi's Kitchen Bailies Auto Refinishers, Newtownabbey The Therapy Room Area 13 County for all of their support. Lastly I'd like to thank my Family for their support and always being there!

Best of luck to Thomas, Christian, Leo, Lee, Rooco, Alexander, Jamie and Jacob who will be representing Northern Ireland in Gibraltar in November no doubt they will do the Country proud it is a great experience!💚🤍
My main objective now is to prepare for the 25/26 season where I hope to put all my issues behind me and be back to my best challenging for titles again!🎯💪
Thank you all be back soon❤️

As 2024 comes to an end I think it's a good time to reflect on my first year in competitive darts.
When joining JDC Belfast at the start of 2024 (my first time playing darts outside the house) I didn't think I'd have as much success as ive had in 2024!
Locally i joined the Whiterock Rangers in B&D Premier league where when I joined we were struggling at the bottom of the table and many backed us to go down but by the end of the season we stayed up and and made a semi final in the league cup!
Later on in the year I joined the area 13 county team where I've been given opportunities in the Northern Ireland county circuit which can give me many opportunities further on down the line in the WDF system not only that I've meet many amazing people due to joining Area 13!
When it comes to the JDC circuit where most of my success in 2024 came from where I finished in the top 20 in Northern Ireland disiute being many many weeks behind in the rankings routines. And in June winning qualification to represent Northern Ireland in Gibraltar where later i was given the privilege to Captain my country which was a dream of mine! In Gibraltar I played in many events picking up some wins and in the team event Northern Ireland got to the quarter finals of the world cup which was incredible and a massive credit to both all the lads who played a massive part in the Country's success in Gibraltar where history was made! It just wasn't about the darts in Gibraltar in made so many friends and memories which will be with me for the rest of my life!
During 2024 especially towards the end I've had my challenges in darts which I'm still battling though but those special moments I've had in 2024 outweigh those ongoing challenges and with hard work and dedication I will over come those challenges and be back to my best in 2025!🎯
Thank you to my sponsors who have supported me in 2024

GIBRALTAR 2024!🇬🇮🎯
Unfortunately my journey in Gibraltar at the WDF and JDC events have came to an end.
7 days of thrilling action from start to finish dispute me having an extremely challenging time on the oche i still feel as though ive learned alot and made myself proud.
Day 1 was a day for travelling making our way to Gibraltar which included us getting to gips with our surroundings for the week, team bonding and meeting some amazing people on the way!
Day 2 I compeated in the WDF Gibraltar open and got to the second round where i was knocked out by the champion Scotlands Adam Craik!.
Day 3 was the Winimau junior darts open where i want out in the second round to Spain's impressive and resilient Miguel Camacho!
Day 4 was the Luke Littler legacy open where Unfortunately i made an early exit in a tough match with Polands Adam Sikora!
Day 5 was the big one the JDC World Championships where i picked up my first ever wins on the world stages Chain individuals from China and Gibraltar but unfortunately narrowly missed out on the next round. and the night of the JDC Gala night where both teams found out their groups for the JDC World Cup of darts!
Day 6 was the day of pride where i represented and Captained my country Northern Ireland in the JDC World Cup of darts where Team A made history getting out of their tough group of three in beating wales and the Republic of Ireland B, unfortunately team B fell at the final hurdle in the group stage after battling extremely hard in our of 4 consisting of the Netherlands, Belgium and Canada where we involved in a match filed with drama, suspense and passion but unfortunately the Canadians were the ones to put a dagger though our hearts come away dramatic 4-3 winners after a quads decider.
Day 7 was JDC World Cup of darts finals day where Northern Ireland made history once again where we made it to the last 8 of the world cup after taking down and thrashing a good German side 4-1 but unfortunately the quarter finals is where it would end after we fell short against one of the tournament favourites Republic of Ireland A after a greatly contested battle the Republic of Ireland shoed they had the cutting edge.
From an individual prospective and reflecting on the weeks action i didn't play to the standards i think could've and wanted to due to a few reasons which of course i am disappointed with but i am taking an massive number of positives from this trip it has taught me alot about myself and darts in general which i will use for the rest of my darting journey and I am extremely thankful for these lessons.
From a team prospective i am extremely proud of my teammates for what they have achieved and they should be extremely proud of themselves i am filled with pride and i am extremely thankful for my teammates as i said before this trip i couldn't of asked for a better bunch of lads to do this with and play alongside, if you asked me another 100 times would i do it again with the same bunch of lads I would say yes 100 times!
To Jacob Todd, Craig Murtugh, Bobby Whyte, Dylan Baine, Alexander Hughes, Christy Hanna and Thomas Elliott, Thank you!❤️
Would like to say a massive thank you to the coaches and the parents/guardians for their support the work they do that goes unnoticed is included a massive credit to them!👏💚
When i return home to Belfast it will be straight back to work on the board to identify the problems in my game and fix them then move on to perfecting the game as much as i can to take my darts to the next level ready for the open qualifiers in 2025 to qualify for these events again and to relish this one more time before i exit the JDC system, and other events outside of the JDC!🎯
This was the big one so thank you to everyone who has supported me from start to finish its extremely appreciated and hopefully you will continue to support me!❤️
Lastly a massive thank you to my sponsors as ive said countless times none of this would've been possible without you!

Day 3!🇬🇮
Day three here in Gibraltar once again an extremely enjoyable day all round, today's was the first of the JDC events starting with the Winimau junior darts open. I was drawn up against Spain's Miguel Camacho! Practice went well and the game got underway Nerves got the best of me at the start of the match but grew into the game and I scored well unfortunately the same cannot be said for my doubling missing multiple darts at double in 3/4 legs which cost me and Miguel deserveingly came away the 4-1 winner the game could've went either way the scoreline and average do not tell the full story of the game.
Congratulations to Miguel on his win and wishing him the best for the reminder of the week what a true gentleman he is!🤝🇪🇸
As for myself playing well in patches but my best is still to come I'm at my C/D game at the moment a bit more work to be done on the practice boards here in Gibraltar hoping to get good consistency and all aspects of my game in top order and make myself fire on all cylinders!🎯
Taking positives from every game and learning alot of valuable lessons here in Gibraltar an amazing learning experience so far hoping to pick up a few wins to top it off!💪🎯
Off the dartboard having an amazing time, it was amazing to meet former PDC World semi-finalist, World matchplay champion, world grand prix champion and Premier league runner-up Colin Lloyd what a privilege, and an absolute gentleman also! 🎯

Day 2!🎯🇬🇮
Day two in Gibraltar an early start, got to the venue absolutely incredible taken back at first nothing compared to what I've played in before, practice went well, and I was drawn against a very tough opponent Adam Craik from Scotland who has recently been signed by Winimau, after a long wait for a marker the game got underway and the nerves took over at first and I started poor but grew into the game but ultimately Adam was in top form and provided too much and my poor start provided costly.
Even though I know I played no where near the levels I know I can achieve and I wasn't firing on all cylinders and unfortunately the result didn't go my way I've took alot of positives away from the game and the day in general, still plenty to play for!🎯💪
Would like to congratulate my opponent Adam who played fantastic darts throughout the day and went on to pick up his first WDF title!👏🎯
