Let every meal count..

HEALTHY SANTA HAT BROWNIES
100g/ 1 cup Almonds, 100g/ 0.85 cups Cocoa powder (unsweetened),20 (150g) pitted dates, chopped,1/4tbsp honey,7 tbsp water (maybe more if it is too dry),1 tsp ground ginger or juice from an orange (which ever flavour you want to add)

12 small Strawberries (the top sliced off)
13 tsp Greek yoghurt (I used full fat, but you could use 0%)

1) First, blend the almonds until fine.

2) Add the dates and cocoa power and blend until smooth.

3) Tip into a bowl and stir in the ginger (if using), honey and water and mix well.

4) Here comes the VERY messy part, as this stuff will stick to your hands like glue. Divide the mixture in to 12 balls and then form sausage shapes. At the tip of each “sausage”, put a hand at each and squash them down so you have a flat top and bottom circle. If that makes sense. Like they are in the photo.

5) Top each one with a tsp of Greek yoghurt and add the “Santa hat” (strawberry) and top that with a tiny dot of Greek yoghurt.

Did you know that In your 30s, your hormones change and you burn 100 calories less per day than in your 20s.
Your waistline starts to expand as your total body fat increases, and muscle mass and body water decrease. This is why you’re likely to see an increase in body weight and lose some of your youthful muscle tone, and why it’s important to increase your muscle bulk now – to promote greater fat burning during exercise and higher calorie burn around the clock, what ever age you may be.Its good to be aware of how your body works ,its not just about what you eat that has an impact on your body shape ,So inform yourself .
