In what appeared a wide-open contest beforehand, it was Made To Measure who made light work of his rivals as Mark Lowther’s charge produced a dominant front-running display to land the €3,000 winner’s prize.

Limerick saw an equally exciting second night of the TIME Club A4 Graders Derby.

Saturday night brought the opening round of the TIME Club Graders Derby to a close, with a further twelve heats on the card. As expected in such a competitive event, the contests were fiercely competitive, with little separating the runners on the clock.

The standout performance of the evening came from Zanoosh, who produced a dazzling display to stop the clock in 28.65. However, despite that impressive effort, both Zanoosh and Petulance, who clocked 28.83, exited the competition under the 28.90 time-finding stipulation. Of those who successfully progressed, Cloneen Alainn and Da Brake were among the most impressive, each recording commanding victories in their respective heats.

With the field now reduced from 144 runners to just 72, the competition is set to intensify in the coming rounds, and this hugely popular event is taking shape nicely.

TIME Greyhound Nutrition continue to show their commitment to Irish greyhound racing, with the 2026 renewal of the TIME Club A4 Graders Derby getting underway at Limerick Greyhound Stadium on Friday night.

The opening session of a bumper first round saw twelve heats contested, with the action set to continue tonight at the Dock Road venue.

Among the standout performers were Highview Speck, Razldazl Tully and Barranca, all of whom produced exceptional displays. However, having broken the 28.90 elimination barrier, the trio will take no further part in the Derby. Despite that disappointment, connections will undoubtedly be encouraged by their performances.

Of those progressing, Air Hostess posted the fastest qualifying time of 28.91, while Bounceback Poppy, Grangeview Hogan and Coolanga Elite also impressed with polished victories.
