Lawson Cup Final

A late goal from Fairview closed the game out. Despite the disappointing result the club would like to thank all of our players, coaches, and management team for their efforts and support this season.

Last night chairman and vice chairman man Nigel Casey and Paul Burke presented Player’s Player of the year to Dillion Moriarty, Player of the Year to Aaron O’Sullivan, and Clubman of the year to Dave Mawdsley.

Well done and well deserved 🙌 Our focus turns to Sligo Rovers on the weekend of July 19th 😮‍💨

The club couldn't be more prouder of how our schoolboy teams are performing this season.

A big well done to this bunch of kids who turn up in all seasons to put on the boro jersey and today they got their reward and well deserved.

Our A Team progressed to the Final of the Lawson Cup following an exciting penalty shootout at Pearse Stadium today 😅

Having taken the lead through Kai Joyce we found ourselves 2-1 behind at halftime 🙌

A quick start to the second half saw us draw level through a penalty from skipper Shane Clarke before Shane, Graham Bourke, Rubin McCarthy , Dion Lynch and Hugo O'hAnluain all converted in the shootout with Aaron O'Sullivan producing a save down to his right to deny Ballynanty !!
