On Saturday we had 5 boxers, boxing in Kilfenora! Hannie,Terry & John all got good rounds! Jamie started off slow but came fighting back in the last 2 rounds! Unfortunately paddy-joes fight was called off!

Big thanks to John from Galway for bringing down some of his underage boxers to spar our own last Friday 🙌🏼 This is great experience for the underage as it will stand to them as they get older 🥊💪🏼

Well done to Max and Matthew on taking home gold medals today in Manchester. Jamie Barry extremely unlucky not to get the nod today so had to settle for silver. 3 cracking fights again today. Overall a very successful weekend for us, a good craic and memories made for life. Well done to all that took part, ye done yerselves and the club proud once again 🥊 🇮🇪

Mixed results for us yesterday in Manchester. First up we had Jayden up against a good opponent from Dublin. The first round was tit for tat, round 2 resulted in Jayden getting caught with an over hand right and getting a standing count. Jayden responded in round 3 by catching his opponent in a simular fashion and catching him a standing count. A very close fight that went against us on a 3-2 split. No complaints with the result but we felt on another day we would have got the decision.
Next up was Jamie the hitman Barry. Jamie who had to dig deep as always managed to come away with a win which progress him to tomorrow's finals.
From here we had Tyrone Doyle, who was up against an ABA boxer who started off very classy but was soon draged into a brawl with Tyrone. The decision didn't go Tyrones way but we can hold our heads high after that performance.
Next up we had Shane Clohessy in what the coaches called a career best performance from Shane. We were shocked to see the win go to the opposite corner. But that's boxing.
Last of the day was Matthew Doev in the 85kg division. Matthew with a GGG style walked his opponent down lovely eventually stopping him in the 3rd round. Matthew marches onto tomorrow's finals along with Jamie and Max.

Southside BC all set and ready to rock for the Manchester box cup this weekend. We have 6 boxers in action. All boys have trained very hard over the last number of weeks/months. Time to go and do the business. Best of luck all and enjoy 🥊💪🏼 🇮🇪

Hi everyone there is a change to our class schedule up until summer!
On Mon & Weds there will only be one class for everyone (Juniors & Seniors) and that will be @6:30-7:30
On Friday it will stay the same as always, underage 5:30-6:30 & Juniors & Seniors 6:30-7:30 💪🏼🥊
