Staying with our clubs ethos of “keeping girls in sport while having fun”

Phase 1 of LIDL serious support “be active” our girls are always active and willing to give any activity a go. We are really enjoying the mental health initiative which we are lucky to be a part of, new ideas and pushing us to think outside the box, thanks to LIDL & LGFA.

An important reminder this Mental Health Awareness Month. Every training session, every coach, teammate and parent can make a difference 🏐✨

Lidl Ireland Ladies Gaelic Football

May is Mental Health Awareness month, and girls who play sport are 2.5 times less likely to suffer from mental health problems.

Here’s the thing: 1 in 2 girls drop out of sport before the age of 20.

They aren’t given the same opportunities to stay in the game.

At Her Sport, our mission is simple. We aim to give girls the opportunity to thrive in sport, and protect their mental wellbeing.

If you’d like to support us, you can donate to The Her Sport Foundation via the link below. If you’re not in a position to donate, a follow goes a long way towards our mission.

Thank you. 💚
