Annika Langvad took the women's rainbow jersey ahead of Sabine Spitz in second place. European Marathon Champion Tereza Hurikova was 3rd. Irish rider Jenny Fay came home in a fantastic 12th place in a stacked field. Well done to all!

Your new Marathon World Champion is Jaroslav Kulhavy! Alban Lakata in 2nd and Christoph Sauser third.

It was all a bit last minute, but I raced the European MTB Marathon Championships in Ballyhoura, Ireland last weekend. What an amazing experience! The trails in Ballyhoura are world class and some of the best single track i have ever ridden.

The Cycle Inns Mick Jordan started on the back row of the grid and fought his way to 4th overall and 3rd place in the super competitive Vets category on Saturday.
