Some more photos from the Doubles tournament played in Seanchoill yesterday.

Today saw the club's first Doubles Competition on our pistes in Seanchoill. Eight teams were entered and we could probably have had several more! Some great closely contested games were held over the 3 and a half hours of play!
The A Finalists were Vidette and Gerry V Flo and Tom with Vidette and Gerry winning in a thriller!
The B Finalists were Mâire and Paul V Steve and Séamus with Mâire and Paul winning a tight match!
Club Chairperson John Cunneen congratulated the winners, presented the prizes and thanked all who had attended. A special word of thanks was paid to Paul who not only organised and ran the competition but also played!
Looking forward to our next practice on Tuesday and our trip to the Munster Inter Club Competition in Clashmore next weekend.

Today is the last day to enter your name to play in our club Doubles competition which takes place at 2.P.M. on Sunday next September 6th in Seanchoill. Please let the Competitions Secretary know ( if you have not already done so) before 5.P.M today on the WhatsApp group.

Great work yesterday painting the fences and boundaries of the pistes! Well done and thank you to our club members who put in their free time.

Some great games today during our regular Tuesday afternoon playing time. The weather was a bit cooler than last week but very pleasant to play in. Some triples, doubles and competition singles played with the 4 pistes in use. Well done to all for attending.

What a fabulous day for the Limerick Wild Geese Festival Annual Pétanque Tournament in Seanchoill yesterday! Some great games played in brilliant continental weather.
After the results were tallied, 1st place went to Gerry, John and Christy. In 2nd place were Steve, Jai and Fintan and in 3rd place were Rory, Flo and Oliver. Congratulations to all!
