Sallins Community Games

Following our AGM we have managed to form the backbone of a Committee however we still need a Children’s Officer who has completed their Children First Course in order to register with National Community Games.

A meeting will be held on Thursday 16th February at 8pm Sallins GAA Club House for those interested in their children competing in the Community Games and for any parents interested in helping restart this competition in our community

We are hoping to restart Community Games in Sallins again this year following the Covid shutdown so if you’re interested then please email us at [email protected] and we can put your email address on the mailing list.
To get started we’re particularly interested in anyone who has an interest in being on the Community Games Committee as we need this before we can get going officially and be signed-up at County level. Anyone who is interested in being on the committee will also need to get Garda Vetting for Community Games completed.

Congratulations to the Sallins, U16 4x100m Relay Team – Adam Donnelly, Tristan O Connor, Leon Sweeney and Dáire Kelleghan – representing County Kidare who won Silver in the National Community Games Final held in University of Limerick yesterday

Congratulations to Sallins U15 Girls Soccer who took Bronze in the National Community Games Finals in University of Limerick yesterday.

Wishing best of luck to our U13 Mixed Relay Squad – Seán Óg Boland, Anna Sweeney, Alison Dempsey, Eoin Moran and Cian McGrath – who represent County Kildare in the National Community Games Final today in University of Limerick

Wishing the Best of Luck to Alison Dempsey and Erin Healy from Sallins who represent Co.Kildare in The National Community Games Finals in University of Limerick today.
Alison is competing in the Long Jump and Erin competes in the Shot Put.

Diving practice on Sunday the 3rd of March in kleisure from 4-5pm. Dressing room access from 3:50pm. All welcome!😄🏊🏼‍♀️

Congratulations to all the Athletes who represented Kildare at the National Community Games in University of Limerick last weekend.
Special congratulations to our Sallins Girls U12 Soccer team who just lost out to Donegal in the 3rd place playoff in a narrow 3-2 defeat, and Tristan O Connor who placed 5th in the U14 800m Final.
