Big congratulations to all the swimmers who took part in the Irish Minor Schools Championships in Dublin last weekend. Lots of fantastic results and PB’s; well worth the journey for everyone!

Just coming back to life after another hugely successful weekend for the Club at the Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK Speeds 2026. Our swimmers brought home 7 Gold, 16 Silver and 14 Bronze medals and finished as 2nd overall club in the UK on points. This achievement is all the more impressive in a year which saw over 600 of the best lifesaving athletes from 35 clubs, competing.
Every single swimmer gave their very best in the pool and deserved all the PB’s and medals …
Massive thanks as always to the parents who organised, booked, time kept, marshalled and supported in any way. To Michelle and co for recording and reporting, to the coaches for helping and supporting poolside. To the Committee for their constant input.To Andrew for being a top Team Manager and especially to Ruth for her tireless work and commitment poolside and beyond. We are lucky to have you Ruth Maria McDougall !!

A fantastic start to the weekend in UL Sport Arena for the Water Safety Ireland Stillwater Lifesaving Championships 2026! Gold medals for Kerry, Hollie, Beth and Kai in 100 Carry, Silver medal for Ronan in Super Lifesaver, Silver for Sinead and Tom in 100 carry and Bronze for Nuala in 100 Carry!!
Hopefully the first of many more!
And a special mention to Ellie, Gerard, Kate and Mabel for their sterling efforts helping in the pool … making the event run super smoothly!!

Congratulations to Aaron 🥇🥇🥉, Paul, Gerard 🥈🥉, Patrick, Hollie, Kate and Ruairi who collectively competed in 22 events at the Swim Ulster LC Open Meet in Bangor last weekend earning 5 medals, 9 Top 10 finishes and 14 PBs. Congratulations to our PTL team who had a fantastic gala against Mid Ulster Swimming Club in Magherafelt this afternoon. It was a hard fought event with lots of very close races and we were delighted to take the win. Thanks to PTL coordinator Sinead, Ruth and the coaches on poolside and to
all the parents who helped with judging,timekeeping, table duties and taxiing!
