Sadly Welly Waddlers will cease running sessions for the foreseeable future.

We would like to thank all the parents, as you have been so wonderful in your support for what we do in Welly Waddlers. Your passion to raise an active, outdoorsy and healthy child is plain for all to see. The Welly Waddler team have really enjoyed our time meeting your Lil’ Waddlers and creating sessions for you all. We hope the sessions have formed an ember and grΓ‘ for the outdoors and we hope it burns strong for a long, long time to come.

The Welly Waddlers has been a great series to be involved in and it has been wonderful to meet so many Waddlers and their families across the region. However, despite great uptake and positivity for the product, Ballyhoura Beo is not set up in a way that it can easily hire staff. With the current team changing roles and on maternity leave, the staff shortage has meant that there has been no way to handover the programme and knowledge to someone else to carry on the programme as it was designed, meaning for the time being the programme must finish.

We are disappointed that there wasn’t a way to continue the programme, but due to the interest and impact the Welly Waddlers has I have no doubt it will resurface in some shape or form for communities to avail of again in the future.

Over the coming weeks we will share any final information we have on the programme and I am happy to answer all questions or queries up until July 12th from which contacting reception 063 91300 will be the only contact line available.

Thank you again for your support.

The Welly Waddler Team.
