This is a message for all A swimmers. This week I told the chairman of the club that I won't be coming back as A coach in the new season. It was a decision I didn't made lightly as I have loved being coach of such a terrific bunch of swimmers, but I felt I had no choice as my position was totally undermined by events towards the end of last season. That said, I am very proud as a founder member to see Mallow Swans Swimming Club grow into the great club it is today. This happened because of dedicated coaches and committee members, but most of all because of you, the swimmers. I would like to thank every one of you, those whom II began coaching 15 years ago as small boys and girls and who are now responsible adults, and all the swimmers over the years to today. I hope you continue to excel and it was a privilege to play a small part in your development. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Mallow Swans Swimming Club, the bestest swimming club around.
