The course is situated just 3 km south of Miltown Malbay on the N67. It is a mature and beautiful 9 hole classic links course which plays to just over 5,000 yards for 18 holes (par 68). Overlooking the sandy beach at Spanish Point, it offers breathtaking views with typical Irish west coast Atlantic climate which can change the playing conditions from hole to hole. The notorious 8th hole, "The Terror", is only 112 yards but can destroy your scorecard when the wind picks up. This is an excellent golfing experience located as it is on the spectacular Wild Atlantic Way and proves popular with visitors who will always receive a very warm welcome.

Massive congratulations to our junior golfer, Oran Hehir, on his selection to the Munster U14 Boys’ Interprovincial Team!

This is a fantastic achievement for Oran, who is the youngest member of this year’s Munster squad.

Oran will represent Munster at the Interprovincial Championships at the end of the month in Holywood Golf Club, the home club of Rory McIlroy.

This is the second consecutive year that a Spanish Point Golf Club junior has been selected to represent Munster – a testament to the bright future of junior golf at our club.

Everyone at SPGC wishes Oran the very best of luck. We know you will represent Munster and Spanish Point Golf Club with pride, and we’re all behind you. Go and enjoy every moment!
