Our new season kicks off this Saturday with our U12s and U13s taking to the pitch. 🏁🏁🏁

Our U12s travel to Athlone to meet St Francis FC - a match which is expected to showcase 2 very talented squads. 💪💪

Saturday brings another historic chapter for our club, as it will be the first time 2 teams in one age group, (the U13s), compete in the Midlands League. Our Whites are away to Clonaslee first thing while the Black team host Tullamore Town in Gainstown after lunch. ⚽️⚽️

This year will be one for our club's history books and last night marked a very special night for us. 🌟🌟 Our very first Senior SWANS team came together for their first ever training session, under the stewardship of Trevor Thompson. 🤜🤛

With a wonderful blend of both Swans' and former Mullingar Athletic AFC players, a high energy session was had under the lights in Gainstown. 💪💪 We are all so excited to see these athletes in action so watch out for match fixtures and please come along to support.🫶🫶 The future is bright in black n white!!! 🏴🏳️‍

Reminder girls under 16s ETP
Anyone born 2010 can apply for our under 16s girls interleague squad. This interleague squad will play games against other under league squads from October to March when the finals will be played. We will also be going to enter a competition in either Spain Holland or England as well as our interleague games against other leagues. This will be girls last chance to play representing football and hopefully a few will make the move onto League of Ireland football ⚽. Please fill in the link below.⬇️

From her very early days on the green in Petitswood Manor, it was clear to all that Laurie Finnegan had immense talent. 👏👏👏

She worked her way up through the age groups with the Swans and treated us to some brilliant moments along the way. One of the most consistent players we have ever had at the Club and a name that will always be associated with the SWANS. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

After 2 Gaynor Cups, multiple goals and most importantly, a brilliant nature, we say goodbye to Laurie and wish her all the best as she makes the move to Athlone Town. 💪💪👏👏

We will be supporting you all the way Laurie and we look forward to following this next stage of your career with anticipation.🫶🫶🫶

🌟🌟 Transfer News .... 🌟🌟

It is always very hard to say goodbye but it is also wonderful to see girls follow their dreams and achieve their goals. Caoimhe McHugh has recently signed for League of Ireland Club; Longford Town FC's U17 Squad and we wish Caoimhe and her teammates every success in the season ahead. 👏👏👏

Caoimhe has been a valuable member of SWANS for about 8 years now and has been an inspiration to both her teammates and clubmates over those years. Often filling the role of captain with as much energy and enthusiasm as she brings to her own game, we couldn't be more proud of the player she has become. Having captained our U14 squad to National SFAI Trophy victory last year, it is no surprise to see Caoimhe making this move. 🏆

We wish you every success and happiness Caoimhe in this next chapter of your footballing career and have no doubt that you will definitely give it your all, as you always do. 💪💪💪

Gladys' brother Stephen coaches our U13 Girls and U15 Boys, alongside ref Andy. Both Isla and Alfie play on our U13s and U15s squads respectively and are a credit to our club both on and off the pitch.
