Morning gang, just a quick notice to our members. This THURSDAY & FRIDAY we will be closing the ladies changing rooms so that some maintenance can be done. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused, but they will be off limits for those 2 days. We are making another bathroom available to use, so there will be bathroom facilities available but NO SHOWERS can be accesses for those 2 days.

Gang, please please please remember EVERYONE must have their own individual towel with them when they come to the gym. Our Number 1 rule is you must have a towel with you. So just add it to your pre-gym check list...headphones✅ hydration ✅ gym gear✅ TOWEL✅✅✅✅

Gang is call Good Friday for a reason, and it's because we are open ALL DAY as usual 6am till 10pm GOOD FRIDAY💪💪💪 should be called Great Friday as far as we're concerned..

Hi gang, just a quick reminder WE ARE OPEN 9-5 ST PATRICK'S DAY. If you don't fancy standing in town tomorrow in the freezing rain, waiting to see if there are any new tractors, waiting to see if the bin trucks look any different to last years bin trucks, and all the time waiting to get into somewhere warm and hand the kids a coke a packet of crips and a mobile phone just so you can get warm and have a few minutes peace 🙈🙈 If all that sounds like too much fun.....Remember you can skip all that fun and come the gym💪💪💪

First Bank Holiday of 2026!!!! We are OPEN 9 to 5 tomorrow gang...We are in February now, but you haven't stopped training!! Everyone said you would but you are proving them wrong!!! you are not gonna stop training, the new years resolution has turned into a new you revolution!!!!!! So we will see you tomorrow between 9-5 yes???

Gang we want to update people again regarding the parking here at Club Active, or more accurately the parking outside and around the gym🚗🚙. The evening times can be busy, like, very busy (Its a gym in January🤷‍♀️) so we would ask where possible try to a few life/car hacks.
Like.....
1) if possible CAR POOL, ring you friends see if you could possibly all go together in one car ( maybe now's the time to ask that gym crush of yours to share a lift to the gym).
2) spread out the time you go to train, the evening time from 5-8 is fairly non-stop, but those last 2 hours start to get quieter and we even have put on 8pm classes, so maybe come a bit later than normal.
3) Maybe park a little but further away. There's car park spaces up at the OLD RAIL TRAIL car park, there's loads of room on the road beside the Waste Management companies Mulleadys & Wallaces.
BUT 4) is the most important tip as it will probably save you money, DO NOT PARK IN THE CEF BULIDING AT ANYTIME DAY OR NIGHT.. Our neighbours next door popped into us today and informed us that ANY CAR parked on their premises will be clamped no matter what time it is, so please DO NOT PARK in the CEF building😮🤯
All we can do is spread the news to you good people of Club Active, the decision you make, we leave up to you!!!!

Hi Gang, just a quick post.... We had the Garda in with us last night, and no it wasn't because they found out I started the rift between Brooklyn & Victoria Beckham ( honestly she wasn't dancing that bad, I just said to the newspapers she was😉🤣) No they called in and asked us to remind/request our members DO NOT park out on the road or the paths outside the gym. So if and where you can please park in the gym, or after working hours use the CEF company parking beside our gym aswell.
