Naas GAA Boys Juvenile Football

Well done to our Naas U14 footballers Adam, Tadhg, Oisin, and Cian representing Kildare yesterday. Success for Kildare v Kerry and Westmeath. Missing from the photo is Matthew McCarthy, who also played.

The Boys U12s represented Naas in the Kilmacud Annual Blitz in UCD on the 28th April with two teams lining out against a selection of teams from across the country.
Both teams performed very well through the group stages reaching their respective finals, much to the delight of the great travelling support.
One team narrowly lost out, while the second won their final resulting in the squad bringing home a trophy from a very competitive blitz.

The Boys U12 Teams had a mixed fortunes with their three teams in their League games with one loss, one win and one draw. The Div 1 team suffered a one goal loss to Clane, the Div 3 Team won well against Cappagh, while the Div 7 Team drew their game against another Clane team.

All matches were played away with great support from the parents and families who travelled were treated to great football across all the games.

Naas Boys U12 White Team played St Edward’s in a challenge in Ardclough, on a beautiful Sunday morning. In what turned out to be a very competitive game against a St Edward’s team from a Division higher, the lads were able to overturn a HT deficit to win by a single score through great work rate and skill. Up next for the lads is an away fixture against Cappagh.

Our Feile teams had two big battles yesterday. It wasn’t to be their day but they represented our club with pride, as did their mentors and supporters.
Congrats and best of luck to Clane and Sallins as they progress.

The Boys U12 Blue Team played Celbridge on a beautiful warm sunny afternoon in Naas in the League. The weather brought out a great number of supporters who were entertained by some fantastic skilfull football by the lads from the throw in to the final whistle, with Naas coming out as convincing winners.
