Bonamargy Friary, Ballycastle - The Black Nun

Perhaps the Friary’s most famous resident was the 17th century prophet Julie MacQuillen. Known as ‘The Black Nun’, MacQuillen wished to be buried at the entrance of the chapel so that she might be trodden under the feet of those who entered.

A local legend says if you walk around grave seven times clockwise, seven times anticlockwise and then place your hand through the hole in the grave, you will summon her.

Hello peeps...as some may have noticed there has been little activity on our page for quit some time. There have been a few issues affecting our lives outside of the paranormal world which we have had to deal with and come to terms with and with Soul Searchers Northern Ireland being a family run team if something affects one then it affects all. Anyway we are now in a position to get going again with an up coming house investigation.
