⚡ How We Coach 1v1s at Soccer Blitz Academy! ⚡

Before and during the 1v1 games we ask the kids one simple question:
“How can we get past the defender?”

The kids come up with the answers themselves — using pace, a quick change of direction, a feint, or body positioning.

This helps them think for themselves, make better decisions on the ball, and learn faster.

Simple questions + lots of practice = real improvement and growing confidence.

We had a brilliant time at our last camp in Craigavon — now we’re bringing it to Armagh Harps!

Armagh Harps Camp
📅 30th & 31st July
🕙 10am – 2pm each day
💰 £30 for the full camp or £15 for one day
We’ll also be using our AirPitches for extra fun!

⚡ What Kids Learn from 1v1 Games – From Our Last Camp ⚡

Before every game we demo and show the players exactly what to do — this is especially important because most kids are visual learners. They watch, understand, then try it themselves.

In these games the attackers learn to use pace and skills to beat the defender. Simple, fun challenges that help young players:

⚽️ Build confidence on the ball.
🏃‍♂️ Learn when to use speed to get past opponents.
💪 Develop basic attacking skills in game-like situations.

These short, high-energy 1v1 games are one of the best ways for kids to improve quickly while having fun.
