The Hub was delighted to attend the Para Ireland strategic launch at sport Ireland 🇮🇪

Today, we launched the next chapter for Paralympics Ireland.

At the Sport Ireland Campus, we officially launched our new ten year strategy, setting out our ambition to expand opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sport, support Irish athletes to deliver world class performances and use the power of Para sport to help build a more inclusive Ireland.

The launch formed part of a joint Sports Forum with Sport Ireland, bringing together athletes, National Governing Bodies, Government, partners and representatives from across Irish sport.

A huge thank you to Minister Charlie McConalogue for joining us today and the team at Sport Ireland for hosting the Sports Forum alongside us, and to everyone who joined us for such an important day for Para sport in Ireland.

Now the work begins.

A fantastic way to celebrate European week of sport. We were thrilled to work with Athletics Ireland and Vision Sports Ireland to deliver a guide running workshop in Portlaoise.

Attendees got to experience guiding a BVI runner whilst also learning sighted guide. Well done 👏 to all who attended we look forward to seeing you all support a BVI athlete in the near future.
