Great fun today at TIFAM's The Irish Foundation for Archery and Mentorship inaugural TAI (Traditional Archers International) T.A.I. Traditional-Archers-International shoot.
This was a 3D Sport Round, much like a typical IFAA UAR, but with a focus on the more traditional bow styles and techniques.
Anyway, the woods in Ballybrittas, County Laois are beautiful and well done to the organisers and course designers for a challenging and fun competition.
Well done too to our own members on their performance in trying something new.

Very successful day. Delighted that so many could join us especially given a particularly busy archery weekend throughout the country.
Huge thanks to everyone who came to shoot and help out, the baking, line-marshaling, set-up and take-down.
Huge thanks again to José and Laura of Clout Archery for supplies and pop-up shop today and keeping everyone in the game.
Thanks too to Brendan Browne of Bren Archery Coaching for his ongoing advice and tech support today. Especially in the area of compound bow set-up, maintenance and coaching, Brendan has a wealth of experience and is currently coach developer for the Irish junior squad.
Thank-you Harbour House Archery Club and Harbour House Sports Club for the use of the facilities.
More again tomorrow, still some room too if you're tempted.
