My first wet race and what a challenging day it was. I was so happy I was able to make up positions in all 3 of my races.
Especially in heat 2 where I climbed my way up from the back of the grid, and gained 7 position’s 🏎️

I had so much fun driving in my new Lando Kart at Kiltorcan Raceway this weekend.

My first time entering an RMC event and my first visit to Kiltorcan. I loved every minute of it 🔥🙌😎

Great battles in the first 3 heats with my fellow Novice drivers. The rain made for an exciting final, I spun out on the false start and couldn’t catch up to the pack before the race started. But I clawed back the 30 sec gap to challenge for 8th on the last lap.

First race complete 🏁🏁🏁

Suffering performance issues with my Honda engine all weekend resulted in me finishing in P6.
But I really enjoyed my first race weekend. Learnt how to line up in formation on track, stay in the tram lines and complete a rolling start for the first time🏎️

The Marshals at Ulster Karting Club were so helpful, they took us on to the track and up to the Start/Finish line, they explained everything to me before the first race. Thank you 🙏

I had loads of fun with my friends and can’t wait for the next race 😎

Sad to have missed my first 2 races of the Ulster Karting Club 2025 Championship 😓

But ready for my maiden race at Nutts Corner Circuit on the 17th May
