Circuit/Fitness/Strength Training Classes, , Mon,Tue,Thur, Sat, St Colmcilles C. S. Knocklyon C. C.

Circuit Training and Classes include Aerobic, Anaerobic and Resistance 'exercise stations of which there could be between 8 and 10, depending on the time available, and the amount of participants involved. Classes start with a 7 minute warm up and finish with 10 minutes approx of body conditioning and stretching in the Tuesday and Saturday morning class, and the Thursday evening;s class format ca

It's holiday time but the circuit training classes are still ticking over.

Class Times:
Monday Strength Class from 6-45 in Knocklyon C. Centre.
Tuesday Circuit Training from 7pm in Knocklyon C. Centre.
Thursday Circuit Training from 7pm in Knocklyon C. Centre.
Sat morning from 9-15am in Knocklyon C. Centre.

Due to work commencing on the second week of July in the Centre, one or two classes may be cancelled.

A rest day next Tuesday 24th of June, so there won't be a Circuit Training Class.

Next Three Classes:

Saturday morning Circuit Training ,21st from 9-15am.
Monday Strength Class, 23rd from 6-45pm
Thursday Circuit Training, 26th from 7pm

Change of venue for Tuesday evenings;

***Tuesday's circuit training class (pay as you go) will run from 7pm,
in Knocklyo C. Centre until the end of August, and NOT St Colmcilles C. School.

***Monday evening's strength class from 6-45pm (book in advance)

Circuit classes are back on track after a weeks recovery break

Monday Strength Class in Knocklyon C. Centre from 6-45pm.
Tuesday Circuit Class in St Colmcilles C. School from 7pm
Thursday Circuit Class in Knocklyon C. Centre from 7pm
Saturday morning Circuit Class in Knocklyon C. Centre from 9-15am

And That's a 'wrap' for our Southside Fitness Backyard Ultra runners, and Crew support.
A BIG SHOUT OUT to our Crew Support, Rebecca, Caoimhe, and David, who watered and fed the two runners who had only 5--9 minutes to spare between loops, and Chauffeurs to and from event venue, Anne Marie and Dillon.

Catherine completed 4 loops/4 hours at 26.8km.

Dave completed 6 loops/6 hours at 40.2km.

And 1800 metres elevation for the 6 loops (e.g. up and down Croagh Patrick twice approx)

Hey all.
Many thanks for all the Waterville support messages.
It was much appreciated by all of us, and does help to get fired up before the start πŸ‘πŸ‘

Well done to the 25km race runners, Anne Marie, Catherine, Dave, and Supporters, David and Caoimhe.

36th out 153 runners in the 25km race, so very happy with that.

I decided not to risk using the GoPro during the race.
It was just too warm, and all the senses needed to be zoned in for the race.

So I brought the GoPro out the next morning for 10km of the race route, to try to capture some of the beauty of the Kerry scenery all around us, during the race, and Caoimhe came along for the run.

We happened to come across the leading pack of 7 for the 43km race (a couple of them I know from IMRA) during our run.

Times for weekly Circuit Training Classes.
Wednesday evening casual runs from Cherryfield,
Sunday morning mountain running meet times (all levels welcome), and Mountain Running Events.

Tuesday circuit training in St Colmcilles Secondary School from 7pm, 15th.
Thursday circuit training in Knocklyon C. Centre, 17th.
Easter Saturday morning circuit training in Knocklyon C. Centre from 9-15am to 10.15am, 19th.
Easter Monday Strength Class in Knocklyon C. Centre, from 6-45pm to 7-45pm, 21st.

Wed evening casual run start times vary between 5-45 and 6-45pm.
