🎯 What a day yesterday for our Roscommon Youth Darts Academy in Sligo! 🎯
We couldn’t be prouder of all our young players and the way they represented Roscommon throughout the day. ❤️💚

Our Roscommon A team just missed out on a place in the Cup semi-final after a very close encounter with Mayo A. There were some fantastic darts played by both sides, and our lads can hold their heads high after giving it everything.

Our Roscommon C team reached the Plate semi-final, where they were beaten by Sligo C in another great game.

Our Roscommon B team went on to win the Plate Final, beating Sligo C in a brilliant finish to the day! 🏆👏

There was some absolutely fantastic darts played throughout the event, and as management, we are incredibly proud of every one of our players.

To all the lads who played yesterday, and to Hannah — ye all performed brilliantly from start to finish. It was a great pleasure to watch you all represent Roscommon with such pride, passion and determination. 🎯❤️💚

We are so proud of how far every one of you has come. Your hard work, commitment and improvement are there for everyone to see, and days like yesterday show just how much progress ye are making.

A massive thank you to all the parents who brought your kids to Sligo and supported them throughout the day. It was a long day for ye, but your support, encouragement and dedication never goes unnoticed.

Thank you for your continuous support and help — we genuinely couldn’t do it without ye. ❤️

From all of us in the management team, well done to every single one of ye. Ye represented Roscommon brilliantly, and we couldn’t be prouder! 👏🎯

Roscommon Youth Darts — the future is bright! ❤️💚

🎯 What a day of darts 🎯

📍What a fantastic day we had on Saturday as we held our U18's competition with an incredibly talented 23 players taking to the oche to battle it out for the title and lift the trophy 🏆.

📍Five group's went head to head to make it to the last 16. The knockout stages produced some fantastic and very tight games with matches going right down to the wire.

📍Our quarter finalists, Ryan, Simon, Dean, Senan, Daniel, Keelan, Eoin and Paul all showed great skill and determination as they battled for a place in the semi finals.

📍After some tough and hard fought games Simon, Dean, Daniel and Paul earned their places in the semi's.

📍In the Final Simon and Daniel went to battle, both determined to claim victory. It was however Daniel who showed quality and class producing an exquisite 152 checkout to seal victory and lift the trophy. Hard luck to Simon who fought hard and congratulations to Daniel, what a way to round off a great day in the academy.

📍 A huge thank you to all our 23 player's who took part. The standard of darts on display throughout the day was brilliant and to say the least enjoyably impressive. It was fantastic to see so how much our players are progressing. Their competitiveness and sportsmanship are both a credit to themselves and their parent's.

📍Thank you to all the helpers and our wonderful committee for organising another brilliant competition and for all the hard work behind the scenes that make days like these possible.

📍Looking forward to seeing you all back at training next Saturday from 4 to 6pm.
