It took us a bit of time but we are finally going ahead with team recruitment.

If you are interested in joining our men's and women's team. Please contact us!

Sligo Volleyball Club is looking for players to join our new men and woman team. Places will be limited.

Teams will train twice a week (2 x 1h30) in Summerhill College.

Fee structure.

One off yearly registration fee with the club. €80. This covers all registration costs for the club and insurance through Volleyball Ireland.

In addition to the one off yearly fee. The year will be cut into 4 terms of 10 weeks each. The cost for these terms will be €150 per term. This works out at €5 an hour and will be used to cover hall rental costs.

Training will be in Summerhill College with days and time to be determined if we have enough players to make up these teams.

Thank you all for showing up to our open day. We are now looking for expressions of interest from people who want to help with the club. We are looking for coaches, volunteer, etc..

There are no training going forward until we find the people we need to run the training sessions.

Realistically club activities will only start after the summer break.

Last Saturday on the 28th of March, Sligo Volleyball Club held their first Open Evening!

We at Sligo Volleyball Club wanted to thank Conor from Volleyball Ireland and Kate from Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership for the support in organising this event

What a fantastic turnout it was. Over 65 people in attendance, to either discover or play Volleyball. With 40 youth participants and 27 adults, It’s great to see such strong interest and enthusiasm for volleyball in the community.

We are now looking to grow and develop the club. We are going to work towards establishing ourselves over the coming months. But this event marks an exciting step forward for Volleyball in Sligo.

If you’d like to get involved—whether through coaching, volunteering, or playing—be sure to get in contact with Sligo Volleyball Club . Everyone is welcome! 🙌
