It was a pleasure guiding Nenagh Walking Club, aka “Aonach ar Siúl” to Sligo this weekend!

We explored Carrowkeel tombs, the Caves of Kesh and had some great chats along the way.
Aonach ar Siúl do wonderful work promoting Irish through events like ‘Siúlóid as Gaeilge’ bringing together a love of hiking, language and community.

We were delighted to help guide on two lovely walks for Tread Softly Festival. We explored the Aughris coastline with Jacinta Gormley and enjoyed the fascinating history of Knocknarea with Dr. Robert Hensey.

Cool off inside the mountain before climbing to your front row seats on the summit for one of Sligo’s best sunsets. Once the show is over we will make our way back down in the cool evening light.

We have two beautiful hikes lined up for the bank holiday weekend and would love to have you along! 🥾

⛰️ Join us for a guided hike up Benbulben Mountain on Saturday the 30th. Amazing views from one of the most spectacular mountains in the country.

⛰️ We also have the popular King’s Mountain hike on the 31st but with a twist. We will hike into the sunset and enjoy the full moon rising over the mountains.

We had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic Erasmus group this week at with adventure activities delivered by 🌿 🥾 🧭

Students travelled from Denmark and Croatia to join up with for a full week of outdoor activities, teamwork and new experiences.

A great group to work with and a special one for me personally too having gone to Summerhill College myself! 🧑‍🎓
