Lovely 50kg PB clean and jerk by Kate Hennessy Hanafin this evening.

Huge shout out to our amazing member -Helen. Helen joined 3 years ago. Unsure if she would "be able" for our classes. She had never trained with weights and was a little nervous. Shr had just turned 60. She gave it a go, all the same. And that is exactly her character. Helen isn't afraid to try anything. And always gives 100%.💯 She arrives early for class everyday and works on her mobility. 😀 She is always strict on her technique and loves to learn. She is also amazingly fit. Here she is executing a clean at 35kg ( one of the olympic lifts and very technical) beautifully. Helen doesn't realise it but she is an inspiration to us all. ❤

Clean pull triples. A great way for developing positioning, power , strength and extension in the clean. Pulling heavier than your clean is also a great confidence booster and prepares mentally for heavier lifts

Lockdown is a perfect time to strip things back and concentrate on some basics. Love these pull Unders to develope speed under the bar.
