Tralee lies on the South West Coast of Ireland in a valley gently sloping westwards to the Atlantic Ocean, between the Slieve Mish and Stacks Mountains. The route of the marathon and half marathon will showcase the culture, heritage and beautiful landscape that Tralee and the surrounding area has to offer. Awards and prizes will be presented to the race winners and those who win in specific race categories. There will also be prizes for the best dressed St.Patrick runners.

Our Story
Tralee Harriers Athletic Club have been the host of the Tralee International Marathon since its first running in 2013, The marathon attracts athletes from all over Ireland, the UK and some very welcomed visitors from Europe and USA.
The marathon is not just for the élite athlete, the Tralee marathon is set up for all grades of runners, with a 5k and 10k for those starting out on their Marathon journey, as well as having a half marathon to help with the next step to the full 26.3 Miles.
We in Tralee Harriers Athletic Club are very fortunate to have a group of sponsors who help with the smooth running of the event, The Kerry’seye Newspaper, Byrne’s Spar, Radar Retail, Trophy World, The Rose Hotel Tralee Chamber Alliance, Kerry County Council and The Rose of Tralee Festival and The Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre.
