Best of luck to our u15s in the South Final tonight. They take on Carrick Swan in Fethard GAA Pitch at 7pm. They've had a great year so far and we ask as many people as possible to make the trip to support them tonight. There will be a minutes silence held before the game due to the sad passing of our club legend, John James Lonergan.
It is with great sadness Ardfinnan GAA Club has learned of the death of former player John James Lonergan. John James is rightly regarded as one of Ardfinnans greatest ever players in a career spanning seventeen years from early 1953 until 1970 winning 5 South and 4 county senior football championship medals as an outstanding defender. He was also a club officer for nine years and a trustee of the club.
We tender our deepest sympathy to his wife Breda, sons Alan, PJ, Brian and David, daughter Jean and all extended family and friends.
May he Rest in Peace
The club would like to wish the very best of luck to Paul Cummins and the Tipp Minor hurlers in the Munster Final tomorrow night against Clare. A great achievement to get this far and hopefully they can go one step further and lift the cup. Best of luck Paul 💪

We carried out some maintenance work on our field last week. As a result, the pitch will remain closed for the next 2 weeks following this work.
The field was over-seeded with new grass seed.
It was aerated using Verti drainer.
Top dressed with sand.
Goal mouths repaired.
Then fertilised.
This work will improve the quality of our playing field and we look forward to having the pitch back in use for the summer, looking and playing even better than ever!
