Yesterday, our U11B team took on Johnville Fc in their second pre-season game.

Another challenging test for our young team against a very well-organised and technical Johnville side, but the team never gave up and kept pushing right until the final whistle.

Both teams played with great spirit and determination throughout the game.

A big thank you to Johnville for hosting us. We wish them the very best of luck for the season ahead.

From the moment our visiting French club arrived in Waterford on Thursday, right through until the tournament came to a close and the gates closed at 6:30pm on Saturday, James and his team looked after every aspect of our transport logistics with professionalism, reliability and genuine care.

Their role wasn’t about transporting hundreds of people.

It was about ensuring our guests from France were looked after every step of the way.

James and his team safely transported our visiting French players, coaches and officials between their hotel and Williamstown Sports Complex throughout their stay, ensuring they always arrived on time, travelled in comfort and experienced the warm Waterford welcome that St Joseph’s AFC is so proud to provide.

Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Every journey was carried out with professionalism, flexibility and a smile, allowing us to concentrate on delivering a memorable tournament while knowing our international guests were in the very best hands.

Their commitment played a huge part in creating a seamless experience for our visiting club and helped make the tournament a wonderful occasion for everyone involved.

Sean very kindly provided the PA system for the morning before taking to the decks and absolutely rocking the socks off everyone for the entire day.

From the moment the first teams arrived until the final whistle, Sean created an incredible atmosphere that brought the whole tournament to life. His music kept the energy high, the smiles wide and the celebrations going all day long.

One of the greatest sights of the tournament was watching so many children not only showing their skills on the football pitch, but also showing off their dance moves off it! Players, parents, coaches, volunteers and supporters all found themselves singing, clapping and dancing along to the music.

Sean’s enthusiasm, professionalism and unbelievable energy added something truly special to the inaugural Michael Grant International Memorial Tournament. His music became the soundtrack to a day that will live long in the memories of everyone who attended.

Events like this are made special by people who quietly give their time and talents to help others, and Sean did exactly that.
