🤸‍♂️DiD YoU KnOW?

The name Pilates comes from its creator, Joseph Pilates.

He developed the method in the early 20th century and originally called it “Contrology”, meaning the complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit. Over time, people began referring to the method simply by his surname…and Pilates stuck.

Joseph Pilates believed the practice:
• Strengthens the core
• Improves posture and alignment
• Enhances breath control
• Creates balanced, efficient movement

Today, the method carries his name worldwide as both a fitness system and a movement philosophy rooted in mindful control.

🌿As we step into a new year, we’re choosing intention over pressure, progress over perfection, and presence over pace

This year isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about coming home to yourself. Moving with purpose. Building strength from the inside out. Creating space to breathe, reset, and reconnect with your body.

Pilates reminds us that strength can be graceful, that consistency creates change and that small, mindful movements add up to powerful transformation. Whether you’re returning to the mat or stepping onto it for the very first time, you belong here.

Here’s to a year of showing up — not perfectly, but intentionally.
To honouring your body, trusting the process and moving forward one breath, one class, one moment at a time.

Thank you to everyone who came to classes in 2025! Thank you for trusting me with your bodies, your time, and your journey, thank you for allowing me to guide your movement, challenge your strength and support you through growth — both physical and mentally. It is a privilege I never take lightly🤍

I can’t wait to move with you all again in the year ahead 🤍 here’s to 2026!

Between Christmas and the New Year there is a gentle pause — no goals, no pressure, just space to breathe and restore, take this time to rest in the in-between.

Be mindful to slow the pace, to pause, reset and take a breathe.🪷

Presence over pressure. 🤍

🌱Strength begins with control. Centering, precision, breath—Pilates principles that shape every move you make…

Pilates isn’t just a workout—it’s a practice in awareness. Each session is a reminder to slow down, breathe with purpose and move with clarity.
Building strength through alignment, control, and mindful repetition, one powerful rep at a time.🤍
