Our 16’a girls traveled to Piercestown to play St Martins last Thursday.

Both teams were out of the blocks quickly with entertaining football . The game was a goal fest!!! 🏐🏐.

Our hosts came out with all guns blazing, taking control in the third quarter and took their scoring chances.

ClonVols girls fought back right to the end and never gave up but wasn’t to be.

Well done to our girls on a fantastic effort and congratulations to St Martin’s on there win.

Wishing Kyra Murphy, who sustained a shoulder injury, a speedy recovery πŸ™ We hope to see you back on the pitch soon πŸ©·πŸ’š

Our U12 Green team welcomed Buffers Alley in a closely contested game that started with both sides evenly matched

From the second quarter onwards, our girls edged in front and never looked back, holding their lead to secure a well-deserved win at the final whistle.

Week after week, this team continues to grow. Their passing, support play and willingness to work for each other were evident throughout the match, while their determination to close down the opposition made all the difference.
The backs defended tirelessly, the midfield worked relentlessly to drive the ball forward, and the forwards were in the right place to finish some excellent scores.

Once again, the coaches couldn't be prouder of this fantastic group of girls. They continue to improve every game, and it's a pleasure to watch them play as a team. Well done, girls!

Many thanks to Buffers Alley for a great game.

Our U14 Green Team travelled to a sunny Buffers Alley last Tuesday evening for their final U14 group game.

Buffers Alley started brighter but didn’t manage to take many chances as the first quarter passed without either team scoring. As the first half drew to a close however both teams found their shooting boots, two quick Buffers Alley goals put them in the ascendency but two quick goals from the Clon/Vols girls including a great Kadie O’Rourke finish brought things level at half time.

The second half was an absolute vintage game of football, end to end with chances on both sides. Buffers Alley however kept their noses slightly ahead and led 3-1 to 3-4 as the game entered the final quarter. A Caoimhe Martin goal kept Clon/Vols in touch but the point scoring of the Buffers Alley girls pushed them over the line at the end with the classic encounter ending 4-7 to 4-1 in favor of the home team.

Many thanks and well done to Buffers Alley for a great game & best of luck for the rest of the season.
