⚽️ MATCH REPORT | U12 Boys A 6️⃣ - 0️⃣ Bree United ⚽️

Our u12s boys travelled to Bree on Saturday for our first away game this season. We got off to a bad start when our goalkeeper was injured in the warm up, but Sean Murphy selfelessly volunteered to step into goals at the last minute!!

The boys played some of their best football yet this season, and ran out winners in the end. Credit to Bree who gave it there all and pushed us for long periods!!

Sean never looked out of place in goals and was a rock throughout the game. Goals came from Dara McNally Sam Vicidous Liam Brown and Ben Kearney. A stand out performance from James Howard in midfield and a fantastic A team debut from Christian Dron.

A big thanks to all the parents for their continued support ⚫️🔵

Courtown Hibs wishes to extend our deepest condolences to the Kinsella family and Gorey Rangers on the sad passing of club Chairman Dan Kinsella.

A gentleman to deal with, Dan was always exceptionally welcoming on our visits to Ramstown and his presence will be sorely missed by the wider Wexford football community.

⚽️ MATCH REPORT | Men's A 4️⃣ - 1️⃣ Dunshaughlin ⚽️

Our 1st Team made the trip to Meath on Saturday afternoon to face a very spirited and well-organised Dunshaughlin YC side in the Leinster Junior Cup.

Conditions and the pitch were excellent, but it was the home side who settled quickest, taking the lead after just seven minutes. Hibs responded well and soon began to take control. The equaliser came after some excellent interchange play, with Podge providing the assist for Matty, who finished clinically to make it 1–1.

The second followed after another good spell of possession. Danny made a great run down the right before setting up Billy, who kept his cool in front of goal to put us 2–1 up. That goal gave us some breathing space and we began to dominating the play. Dunshaughlin continued to work hard and remained dangerous on the break, but our defence stayed strong, organised and disciplined throughout.

The third came during another strong spell from Hibs, with Billy returning the favour and setting up Danny to make it 3–1. With Hibs now firmly in control, Des wrapped things up with an excellent finish for the fourth.

A very good away performance against a competitive Dunshaughlin side and a well-deserved place in the next round.

⚽️ MATCH REPORT | Hibs Youths 3️⃣ - 1️⃣ Hanover Harps ⚽️

An excellent win on the road in the LFA Cup for our youths against a much bigger and more physical Hanover team.

The lads went 1 down after 20min but this was quickly wiped out by an excellent take down and swivelled finish in the box by Kaid Fleming after a great cross from skipper Rhys Tyndall. The rest of the half was nip and tuck, Hanover proving a threat with a few long balls over the top for their dangerous skipper and no.9 who was marshalled very well all day by our centre backs Nathaniel Bugaj and a dominant Alex Kinsella.

Just like last week, scoring impacts came from the bench with a majestic lob from Luke Sheehan on 63 mins and the win was sealed by Leon Gibbons on 84min when he finished from close range after great work to press the keeper

An excellent all round display from this very young side .

Notable standouts were Alex Kinsella who handled the physical threat all day from their strike, mr consistent Aaron Doyle at right back and the excellent Mikey Murphy who never shirked a challenge in the middle of the park 🔵⚫️

⚽️ MATCH REPORT | U15 Boys A 5️⃣ - 2️⃣ North End ⚽️

The boys kicked off the season in style with a well-deserved 5–2 win over North End at home!

The lads raced into a 3–0 lead inside the first 20 minutes, with Ciaran grabbing two and Casey adding another. North End battled back and pulled one back before the break.

The boys came out strongly after half-time, with Casey and Oisin both getting themselves on the scoresheet. The pair proved to be a real handful for the away team throughout. North End added another late on, but the lads held firm to secure a deserved opening-day victory.
There were some very good passages of play throughout the game, along with a few things for the lads to work on as the season progresses with stand-out performances: Jack, Casey & Oisin

⚽️ MATCH REPORT | Boys U15B 5️⃣ - 4️⃣ Duncannon Seaview

Our U15’s B team started their season with an excellent 5-4 home win against Duncannon Seaview yesterday.
The boys dominated the game with some great play down the wing between Higgo and Elliott and Alex on the opposite side creating many scoring chances and netting 2 great goals. Tomas caused trouble for the oppositions defence from the start whistle and also netting two great goals.

The boys controlled the game and were 4-1 up and lost concentration in the second half to allow the opposition back into the game.

Our defence, as always was solid with Jonah controlling the play.
Noah added the fifth goal from a long range shot finishing the game 5-4 🔵⚫️
