This week’s competitions were vPar format, kindly sponsored by Seamus Kenny Gallery, Picture Framing, Printing, Portraits. Many congratulations to Áine on a great performance to finish 5Up and take her second win this week! Well done also to Aileen who won the 10 hole competition with 4Up.

Many congratulations to our wonderful Leinster Trophy team ladies who had a magnificent win against New Ross today on a score of 5.5 to 0.5. The team was Margaret Atkinson, Therese Glasheen, Susan Kelly, Osnat Manning, Margaret Mooney and Una Robinson. They were ably assisted by caddies Louisa Boshoff, Josephine Brennan, Ger Broaders, Martina Dempsey, Mary O
Leary & Mary B O’Leary. Team Manager Triona Hogan was assisted by Aisling O’Leary and Lady Vice Captain Kay McCabe on the day. Well done all round 👏👏

Best of luck to our Leinster Trophy team who will play New Ross ladies today from 3pm, with three matches at each venue. All support very welcome.

A big congratulations to our Junior Cup singles team of Mark Moore,Graham Goff,Brian Morris, Gary Lynch and Richie Brown, and not forgetting our 2 managers Larry O Neill and Declan Rossiter, beating Courtown in all matches a marvellous achievement ⛳️🏌‍♂️😄

Sunday 24th May will be a day to remember for long-standing club member Trina Walsh. Not only did she win the Category B prize in the Captain’s Prize to the Ladies, she also managed to get a magnificent hole-in-one on the 16th! Super shooting Trina!

What a glorious day we had for our Captain’s Prize to the Ladies, with blue skies and sunshine all day long! The course was in fabulous condition thanks to the dedication of our super course staff. Congratulations to Lorraine on a fantastic score of 65 to run away with first prize in the main event and to Rita on taking the honours in the 10 hole competition. Well done also to all the other prize winners on the day.
Many thanks to Captain Nicky for hosting such a successful day and for the wonderful array of prizes.
