💖 Creating meaningful ceremonies & connections Nothing is wasted. So yes, nothing is wasted.
That’s the conclusion I reach when I look back on what has so far been a rich and varied life and career. We’re taught to see our professional and personal lives as separate entities. That’s not how I see it, or how I think it should be. I’ve worked in management consultancies in Ireland and abroad, so am familiar with and at ease in what is termed the ‘corporate world.’ But I’ve also been a lifel

Samhain is the ultimate Fire Festival
The series concludes with the flame! 🔥🔥
At Samhain a great communal fire was lit on the Hill of Tlachtga in Co. Meath, to protect and guide the community into the dark half of the year.
The fire was used for:
🔥Warding Off Spirits - A beacon in the darkness
🔥Ritual Cleansing - Passing livestock through the smoke
🔥Final Offering - Burning animal bones as an Offering to the deities
This Samhain, embroldace this ancient tradition. Light your own fire - in your home or garden - and look into the flames, honouring your ancestors.
All the blessings of Samhain to you. May the new year bring you an abundance of good health and good fortune 🙏🎃🔥🧙♀️
Barmbrack, Apples, and the Magic of Samhain Food🧆🍎🍏
The famous Barmbrack was prophetic. Inside were hidden objects that foretold the coming year.
Apple peels and games with apples were associated with love and marriage.
Burning Nuts, especially hazelnuts, could foretell good luck or misfortune.
This Samhain, bring back the old games. And may the prophecy be in your favour!🍏🍎🧆
The Ancient Magic behind the Pranks🎃
A little mischief is essential for balance.
In ancient Ireland, our ancestors gave children licence to play pranks on Samhain night because they were closer to the Spirit World.
The purpose was to ritually echo the turning of the year, where the world's order broke down as the veil lifted. It was a sacred misrule, reminding everyone that life is cyclical and, sometimes, the rules must sleep.

The ancient magic of Samhain masks and costumes.
At Samhain, when the Veil is Thin, our ancestors wore disguises for two powerful reasons:
1. Protection: To avoid being recognised as human by passing spirits, ensuring they wouldn't be followed or enchanted.
2. Ritual: To signal their openness to the Otherworld - a way of saying, "I honour you"
Enjoy your disguise this Samhain as you step into this ancient tradition.
