We couldn't be prouder, and hearing what your journey has meant to you makes it even more special.
π¬ "Iβm really surprised to find Iβve done this many classes! They are all different, the music is great, the chats with others, and Warren and his team motivate us all, never less than encouraging. The effects are real, Iβm wearing clothes I havenβt worn in years, and I feel stronger and better. Itβs not easy, but itβs been so worthwhile! Thanks Clan!"
This is exactly what CLAN is all about. β€οΈ It's not just the workouts... it's the community, the encouragement, the consistency, and the confidence that comes from showing up for yourself week after week.

πΊπΈπ₯ We might not celebrate the 4th of July here in Ireland... but we'll happily take any excuse for a summer BBQ! π₯π
The good news? A BBQ doesn't have to derail your fitness goals.
Swap the heavy, processed options for:
π₯© Lean steak
π Grilled chicken
π Fish or prawns
π₯ Fresh salads packed with colourful veggies
π½ Grilled corn, peppers and courgettes
Grilling is a great way to cook because it can add flavour without needing lots of extra oil or fat. Pair lean protein with plenty of salad and vegetables, and you've got a meal that's high in protein, full of nutrients and perfect for fuelling your workouts.
So enjoy the sunshine, fire up the BBQ, and remember... healthy eating is all about balance, not missing out! βοΈπͺ

π₯ Friday Fitness Tip π₯
Don't just focus on the workout... focus on the recovery too!
Recovery is where your body adapts, repairs muscle, and comes back stronger. If you're constantly training but skipping the basics, you could be slowing your progress.
Here's your recovery checklist:
π§ Stay hydrated
π₯© Eat plenty of protein and nutritious foods
π΄ Aim for 7β9 hours of quality sleep
πΆ Keep moving with a gentle walk or stretch on your rest days
π§ Take time to cool down after every workout
Remember, you don't get fitter while you're training, you get fitter while you're recovering. Good recovery helps your body repair and prepare for your next session.
Happy Friday from all of us at Clan Fitness! Have a great workout and an even better weekend. πͺ

ποΈββοΈ Form First. Results Follow. ποΈββοΈ
One of the most important things you can do during any workout isn't lifting heavier or going faster...
It's maintaining good posture and engaging your core. πͺ
Your core is more than just your absβ¦ itβs the foundation that helps support your spine and keeps your body stable while you move. Learning to brace your core and maintain good posture during exercises can improve balance, control, and movement efficiency while helping to reduce unnecessary strain on your lower back. Research shows that good core engagement plays an important role in stabilising the spine during exercise.
Remember... it's not about lifting the heaviest weight, it's about lifting it well.
Strong form = Strong body. π₯

π₯ CLAN HOT SPINNING π₯
Think spinning is just for cyclists? Think again.
Whether you play GAA, golf, football, tennis, rugby, Irish dance, or simply want to perform better in everyday life, our Clan Hot Spinning classes can give you a serious advantage.
π΄ Improve cardiovascular fitness and endurance so you can keep performing when others start to fade. Cycling is well known for building aerobic fitness and helping athletes perform for longer periods without fatigue.
πͺ Build strength and muscular endurance in your glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves β the powerhouse muscles behind running, sprinting, jumping, changing direction, and explosive movements.
β‘ Increase your stamina and recovery between bursts of effort, helping you stay stronger for longer during matches, competitions, and performances.
π― Strengthen your core, improving balance, stability, posture, and power transfer, essential for sports like golf, tennis, GAA, and Irish dancing.
π₯ Train your mental toughness by pushing through challenging intervals and learning to stay focused under pressure.
For golfers, better leg strength and core stability can help generate more power and consistency through your swing.
For GAA and football players, improved endurance means being able to make those crucial runs in the final minutes of the game.
For tennis players, a stronger aerobic engine helps you stay sharp through long rallies and tough matches.
π For Irish dancers, strong legs, improved cardiovascular fitness, and greater muscular endurance can help you maintain speed, precision, and power throughout demanding routines and competitions. Better aerobic fitness also helps dancers recover more quickly between dances and perform with less fatigue.
So the question isn't, "Should I try spinning?"
It's...
How much better could your sport or performance be if you did? π

ποΈββοΈ WORKOUT WEDNESDAY βοΈ
When the weather warms up, is it better to work out inside or outside?
The truth is, both have their benefits.
π³ Training outdoors can boost your mood, increase Vitamin D levels, and make exercise feel less like a chore. Fresh air and a change of scenery can do wonders for motivation.
ποΈ Training indoors gives you a controlled environment, helping you avoid excessive heat, dehydration, and sun exposure.
For us here in Ireland, we're not always blessed with endless sunshine, but when it does arrive, it's important to be sensible. Irish skin can be particularly vulnerable to UV damage, so if you're exercising outdoors, don't forget the sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water.
The best workout is the one you actually do!

βοΈ HOTTER WEATHER = SMARTER HYDRATION βοΈ
When the temperature rises and your workouts get sweatier, your body isn't just losing water, it's also losing important electrolytes and minerals through sweat.
These include sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium, all of which play a key role in muscle function, energy production, hydration and recovery. Lose too much without replacing them and you may start to feel fatigued, dizzy, sluggish, or even experience muscle cramps.
It's also important to remember that many of the vitamins involved in energy production, including B vitamins and Vitamin C, are water-soluble, meaning your body doesn't store large amounts of them and they need to be replenished regularly through your diet.
As the weather heats up:
π§ Drink water consistently throughout the day
π₯ Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables
β‘ Consider electrolytes after longer or more intense sessions
ποΈ Don't wait until you're thirsty to hydrate
Train hard, recover smart, and stay hydrated this summer! βοΈπͺ
