We are extremely proud and excited to announce a historic move for Israeli women’s handball, as 🇮🇱 Ofek Rotman joins 🇫🇷 Metz Handball until 2027.

Israel’s most promising young talent will continue her development within the professional structure of one of the biggest clubs in European handball - the reigning EHF Champions League winners.

The move represents a major step in Ofek’s development, placing her within an elite environment, a professional pathway, and daily standards at the highest level of European handball.

This is a major milestone for Ofek - and the biggest transfer in the history of Israeli women’s handball.

A special thank you to the wonderful people who supported, helped, and played an important part in making this move possible - Shlomo Cohen, Dvir Goldstein, Niv Weintraub, Nisim Falach, Amitai Dayan, Sima Sherlin and Tuvia Yogev. Without your support, this journey would not have been possible.

We would also like to thank Ofek’s home club, HC Holon, for its support throughout the process and for being an important part of her development and journey.

We are proud to be part of this special chapter and excited for everything that lies ahead. 💙
