स्कूल का क्या महत्व है? बच्चों में क्या बदलाव लाता है स्कूल?

जब कोई भी बच्चा स्कूल की तरफ अपना पहला कदम बढ़ाता है तो उसे पता नहीं होता कि वो जीवन की सबसे अच्छी और महत्वपूर्ण जगह पर जा रहा है।किसी भी बच्चे का व्यक्तित्व निखारने और उसका भविष्य संवारने में स्कूल की भूमिका सर्वाधिक होती है।स्कूल एक ऐसी जगह है, जहां बच्चों का सामाजिक विकास तेजी से होता है। हमउम्र बच्चों के साथ वे घुलमिलकर चीजों को बेहतर तरीके से समझते हैं। वैसे तो घर को सबसे बड़ा स्कूल माना जाता है जहां पर बच्चा प्राथमिक स्तर पर सबकुछ सीखने लगता है, लेकिन इसके बाद स्कूल उसे ऐसे मंच के रूप में मिलता है, जो उनके विकास में अहम भूमिका निभाता है।

स्कूल की कई परिभाषाएं हो सकती हैं।असल में स्कूल वो जगह है जहां सीखने की क्षमता तेज गति से बढ़ती है।बच्चों को बाहरी दुनिया के बारे में पता चलता है। हर रोज़ वो कुछ नया सीखते हैं। स्कूलों में कई तरह की गतिविधियां होती हैं, जहां वह सीखते हैं कि उन्हें कैसे बोलना है? दूसरों से कैसा व्यवहार रखना है? इसके अलावा बच्चों को संगीत और चित्रकारी जैसे गुणों को विकसित करने में मदद मिलती है।

हर स्कूल का अपना अपना स्तर होता है जो कि बच्चे के सीखने में निरनायक भूमिका निभाता हैं। हम अक्सर अच्छे स्कूल का पता लगाने लगते हैं।

एक स्कूल को अपने निहित हितों और दक्षताओं को पोषित करते हुए, उनके आस-पास की दुनिया के लिए एक बच्चा तैयार करना होता है। स्कूल में शिक्षा उन्हें एक समृद्ध पाठ्यक्रम और सीखने के अनुभवों की विस्तृत श्रृंखला प्रदान करती है जिसके माध्यम से वे बाहर और उनके भीतर की दुनिया का पता लगाएंगे।

'आदर्श स्कूली कैसा होना चाहिए' के लिए मेरी खोज में मैं कहना चाहूँगा कि शिक्षा के उद्देश्य है कि छात्रों को उनके आस-पास की दुनिया और उनके भीतर प्रतिभा को समझने में सक्षम बनाए ताकि वे श्रेष्ट, सक्रिय, और दयालु बन सकें।

शिक्षा के चार मुख्य उद्देश्य हैं जो आप में से प्रत्येक माता-पिता को जानना चाहिए।ये हैं: -

1. आर्थिक विकास - हम अपने बच्चों को एक उपयुक्त पेशे में उद्देश्यपूर्ण काम खोजने में सक्षम बनाना चाहते हैं। लगातार बदलते माहौल में, शिक्षा से प्रमुख आवश्यकताओं में से एक है कौशल के साथ बच्चों को सशक्त बनाना है, जो उन्हें गतिशील दुनिया में सफल और सक्षम बनाए।

2. सामाजिक विकास - एक बच्चे का सामाजिक और भावनात्मक विकास माता-पिता और स्कूल का एक सहयोगी प्रयास है। बच्चे अपने आसपास के लोगों के कार्यों को सुनकर और देखकर सीखते हैं।

3. सांस्कृतिक विकास - बच्चों को उनके आसपास की दुनिया के बारे में शिक्षित करने का अर्थ है अपने और अन्य लोगों की संस्कृतियों के बारे में सीखना। जैसे ही बच्चे आसपास के लोगों से बात करना सीखते हैं, वे उस समुदाय की संस्कृति को समझते हैं जिसका वे हिस्सा हैं।

4. व्यक्तिगत विकास - प्रत्येक बच्चा अद्वितीय है और शिक्षा के प्रमुख उद्देश्यों में से एक उन्हें बौद्धिक शक्तिवान और जिम्मेदार व्यक्ति में विकसित करना है जो मानव संपर्क और परस्पर निर्भरता के महत्व को समझता है। शिक्षा एक बच्चे के क्षितिज को विस्तारित करने, अपने कौशल को विकसित करने और उनकी समझ को गहरा बनाने के बारे में है।

शिक्षा व्यक्तिगत होना चाहिए। हालांकि सीखना सामाजिक है, सभी शिक्षार्थियों व्यक्ति विशेष हैं। प्रत्येक बच्चा अद्वितीय है और अलग-अलग तरीकों से सीखता है। इस प्रकार स्कूल शिक्षा बच्चों को अपने उनके भीतर अद्वितीय दुनिया के बारे में जानने और उनके आसपास की दुनिया में अपना रास्ता बनाने में सक्षम बनाती है।

DPS Abohar is delighted to host India's First and Best Stand up Comedian Poet - Shri SURENDER SHARMA. He will be accompanied by Shambhu Shikhar, Sita Sagar and Chirag Jain.

He is one of the first few poets of Hasya Ras (Comic and Satiric Poetry). He has established the tradition of Hasya-Ras among Kavi sammelan industry. Surendra Sharma was honored by the Government of India, in 2013, with the fourth highest Indian civilian award, the Padma Shri.

One of the amazing things being associated with the Education sector is having the opportunity to bridge the knowledge gap that exists between bigger cities and small towns.

Children of DPS Abohar are pursing training in Robotics as part of their school curriculum. Using LEGO Robotic kits imported from Denmark, Robotics classes are helping children take a keen interest in Science and Maths, applying the knowledge that they learn as part of the regular CBSE curriculum.

Better exposure will help create better opportunities for children from smaller towns.

UNICEF Day Celebration @ DPS Abohar

To celebrate UNICEF day with the theme "Together We Are", a commendable effort by DPS Abohar to invite the students of Prayas School-A school for special need children for a friendly match of Kho-Kho with a motive to enhance the feelings of empathy and compassion in our students and bring a smile on the faces of students of Prayas! Mrs and Mr Rai Singh Bhadoo were the chief guests for the event. The students of Prayas School along with their teachers were given a warm welcome by students of DPS Abohar by presenting them cards. A friendly match of Kho-Kho was played between two teams. Students of Prayas school were really amused by the fun track races and games organized by students and staff of DPS Abohar. They enjoyed the open air gym and slides in the school. Their happy faces made the event more lively.

The winner students were encouraged by presenting medals by the chief guests of the event along with our principal Ms Lata Tejpal. The positivity, enthusiasm, energy and happiness in the students during the event was heart touching and DPS Abohar look forward organizing more events for these students in future.

DPS Abohar Students selected for Archery Nationals - will represent Punjab State in Under-14 and Under-17 competition at National Level

Delhi Public School, Abohar proudly hosted 63rd Punjab State Archery tournament (under 14, 17 and 19 Boys and girls) from 24th September to 27th September, 2017. Two of our students; Harsheen and Navjot are selected for National Level which is a matter of utmost happiness for us. Under 14, Harsheen will represent Punjab in Archery at National level in Manipur, Imphal in the last week of October. Navjot , under 17, will represent Punjab in Archery at National Level in Chattisgarh in the first week of December.

This event provided an awe-inspiring chance to our students to participate and watch it as well. It was a great opportunity for them to get a deep understanding and hands on the game. Four students: Harsheen and Siya Monga from Grade 6, Adityendra from Grade 8 and Navjot from Grade 9 participated enthusiastically. Adityendra and Siya have got team gold and silver respectively. Harsheen Kaur won gold in 20 m, silver in 30 m, and overall team silver. Navjot has won team gold.

The four days event was cheerfully completed through the efforts put in by Punjab Education and Sports department in conjugation with the entire DPS, Abohar team under the guidance of our pro- vice chairman Mr. Kunal Bhadoo. It provided a golden chance to our school to bond with other schools and created a cheering atmosphere.

A total of 300 participants from various 15 districts had participated with great enthusiasm in the vicinity of Delhi Public School Abohar. Mr. Rai Singh Bhadoo , Mrs. Vijaylakshmi Bhadoo and our principal Ms. Lata Tejpal presented token of appreciation to all the officials and received the appreciation letter and memento for hosting it in an very well manner. All the officials, coaches who were accompanying their teams were immensely impressed by the arrangements made by DPS Abohar. They congratulated DPS Abohar for making the event a great success.

We wish the best for our students selected for National Level.
