Officials from the District Forest Office, Dhalai District, along with representatives of Tripura Adventure Sports Federation (TASF), meeting with the Principal of Dolubari Higher Secondary School to finalize arrangements for the upcoming Snake Awareness & Adventure Safety Workshop 2026.

বিষাক্ত হোক বা নির্বিষ, সব সাপই প্রকৃতির অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ! 🐍✨
​আমরা প্রায়শই সাপের কথা শুনলে আতঙ্কিত হয়ে পড়ি, কিন্তু আপনি কি জানেন ত্রিপুরার বেশিরভাগ সাপই নির্বিষ এবং পরিবেশের ভারসাম্য রক্ষায় অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ?
​সাপ পরিবেশের পরম বন্ধু, কারণ তারা ইঁদুর ও অন্যান্য কীটপতঙ্গ খেয়ে ফসলের সুরক্ষা নিশ্চিত করে। তাই নির্বিচারে সাপ হত্যা বন্ধ করতে হবে এবং প্রকৃতির এই ভারসাম্য রক্ষা করতে হবে।
​যদি কখনও সাপের মুখোমুখি হন:
1️⃣ শান্ত থাকুন, আতঙ্কিত হবেন না।
2️⃣ সাপের থেকে নিরাপদ দূরত্ব বজায় রাখুন।
3️⃣ পোষা প্রাণী ও শিশুদের দূরে রাখুন।
4️⃣ সাপকে নিজে ধরার বা মারার চেষ্টা করবেন না।
​আমাদের এই সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি এবং সুরক্ষিতভাবে সাপ উদ্ধারের উদ্যোগে আপনাদের অংশগ্রহণ প্রয়োজন। পরিবেশ সচেতনতা ছড়িয়ে দিয়ে আসুন আমরা সবাই মিলে একটি নিরাপদ এবং সবুজ ত্রিপুরা গড়ে তুলি! 🌱🌍

​We often panic when we think of snakes, but did you know that most snakes in Tripura are non-venomous and crucial for maintaining ecosystem balance?
​Snakes are true friends of the environment, ensuring crop protection by eating rats and other pests. Therefore, indiscriminate snake killing must stop, and this balance of nature must be preserved.
​If you ever encounter a snake:
1️⃣ Stay calm, do not panic.
2️⃣ Maintain a safe distance from the snake.
3️⃣ Keep pets and children away.
4️⃣ Do not attempt to catch or kill the snake yourself.
