ASC SARNAL Becomes First Finalist of Awami Stadium Akura Cricket League
ASC SARNAL secured a hard-fought win against BCC Bandarpora to become the first team to qualify for the final of the Awami Stadium Akura Cricket League.
Batting first, ASC SARNAL struggled in the initial phase and were reduced to 40 for 5 in 10 overs. However, a spirited fightback from the lower middle order helped them recover and post a competitive total of 133 for 6 in 20 overs.
Salman anchored the innings with 33 runs off 33 balls. Shabbu played a slow but composed knock of 27 runs from 44 balls — a pure display of class that proved impactful in the context of the match. Irfan injected momentum with 22 runs off 13 balls, while Aquib provided a late flourish with 23 runs off just 8 balls. Tawheed chipped in with a quick 17 off 10 balls.
While defending this modest target, ASC SARNAL’s bowlers took full responsibility. They dismantled the BCC Bandarpora batting line-up for just 98 runs in 18 overs.

Today at Awami Stadium, Akura, ASC SARNAL delivered a commanding performance in the semifinal against VC RACC to book their place in the final.
Batting first, ASC SARNAL posted a competitive total of 167 runs. Muneebullah was the top scorer with a brisk 40 runs off 28 balls, setting the foundation for the innings.
While defending the target, ASC SARNAL’s bowlers maintained relentless pressure throughout the game. Tawheed led the attack with 3 wickets, while Irshad and Amir David chipped in with 2 wickets each. Aquib also contributed with 1 wicket as VC RACC were restricted well short of the target.

Gousia CC Pehroo produced a dominant all-round performance to defeat Sallar Sports by 24 runs and lift the prestigious Jablipora T20 Knockout Tournament trophy.
Batting first, Gousia CC Pehroo posted 156/8 in 20 overs. The innings was anchored by Bashir, who played a mature and responsible knock of 48 runs, while Captain Mohsin Makhdoomi changed the complexion of the match with a blistering 40 runs off just 18 balls, putting the opposition bowlers under immense pressure and taking Gousia to a formidable total.
In response, Sallar Sports never really looked settled in the chase. From the very beginning, Gousia’s bowlers maintained complete control and kept picking up wickets at regular intervals. The opposition was never allowed to build any meaningful partnership and remained behind the required rate throughout the innings.

Nanil Sports won the toss and elected to bat first, setting a competitive target of 177 runs. Their innings was anchored by a blistering knock from Rayees Beigh, who scored 44 runs off just 17 balls. He was well supported by Farzan Dar with 28 runs, Ishfaq Parray with 21 runs, and Rouf Parray with 23 runs.
