Thinking back on my Ladakh yoga and meditation retreats, I recall how young many Buddhist monks were starting their spiritual path.

In exactly one week, on October 30, I will begin my mental resilience Everest trek to 21,000 feet / 6120 meters as we summit Lobuche East.
This journey, marks a very important time of my life. It’s the ending of a very cherished phase of life and the beginning of a brand new one.
The past two decades have been about leaving a marriage, struggling with failure, and discovering myself, and the joys of family and close friends.
It’s also been an amazing journey of being a focused parent for 23 years, It’s taken a village to raise them, and I’ve loved every moment of being a mother to both Alya and Shaira.
It’s also been a long and arduous journey evolving to discover my life purpose. The amazing Yogacara community, with all my beautiful students that were dedicated to reaching out deep within themselves to access their vulnerabilities, overcome fears and to live each day with joy and gratitude.
Please know, I am taking every single one of you with me in my heart. I’m carrying with me all our love, dreams, fears, pain and vulnerabilities, and it’s going to be the strength with which I take every step for the next two weeks, surrendering to the powers of nature.
Together, we make this incredible universe what it is, together we create, and together we become the light that raises collective consciousness to a whole new state of being.
It’s time for the majestic mountains, to push myself way out of my comfort zone, overcome all remaining fears and doubt, gain fresh new perspectives and to live the rest of life with fullness, adventure and more and more and more gratitude 🙏
