Next Step Chess Academy

Next Step Chess Academy proudly congratulating to Reeya Singh Kurmi of class IX, KV AFS, for wonderful performance at "ALL ASSAM INTER SCHOOL CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP" which was held on 25&26 May .
This was her first tournament in chess journey where she have shown patience, dedications, fashion & love for the game of 64 squares and clinched the 2nd position in U-15 girls category.
Once again I extending my gratitude & heartfelt congratulations to Reeya Singh Kurmi for becoming the 1st player to win a trophy for us and made us proud.
Our others three players are aslo fought very well in each of the game and tried to gave their level best and managed to score a respectful points.
All of my students have learned a lots of things from that tournament as they are participated 1st time in such a big tournament.

Next Step Chess Academy is to Assam & North East 1st GrandMaster and India's 94th GM Mayank Chakraborty.Only 16 years old boy from Assam achieved his final GM norm in Sweden.By achieving this wonderful milestones he became the 1st and one and only Grand Master from entire North East, India.
So we are once again congratulating him ,his family, coach and his team for this phenomenal milestones and wishing him more success in ahead. 👍💐
