2ND FAAVOS TAEKWONDO CUP 2025 CONCLUDES WITH GRAND SUCCESS AT BUDGAM, UT J&K
The Budgam District Taekwondo Association proudly concluded the much-awaited FAAVOS Taekwondo Cup 2025, held from 24th to 26th August at Lucent International School, Magam. The championship turned out to be one of the biggest Taekwondo gatherings in the district, with over 500 athletes from different corners of Jammu & Kashmir showcasing their strength, skill, and discipline.
The three-day event brought together 20+ participating teams, representing clubs, schools, and academies from across the Union Territory. The atmosphere at Lucent International School remained electric throughout, with spectators cheering for their favorite teams and athletes demonstrating commendable sportsmanship and spirit.

Over 80 Budgam Athletes Excel at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar
Srinagar, June 26, 2025 โ In a proud moment for the Taekwondo community, the Budgam District Taekwondo Association emerged as the overall champion at the prestigious Taekwondo Association Cup 2025, held at the Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex in Srinagar.
This highly anticipated event saw a massive turnout, with nearly 700 young athletes from across Jammu and Kashmir competing in various categories. Representing Budgam were 83 talented boys and girls, each demonstrating outstanding skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
Their collective performance led District Budgam to secure the 1st position overall, earning the coveted Winners Trophy ๐ and setting a benchmark for excellence in the sport.
