45 years ago, two young dancers stepped onto the stage to mark a significant milestone in their artistic journey. 🌸✨
On 6th June 1981, K*m. Suparna Udyavar and K*m. Shubhada Udyavar presented their Arangetram under the banner of Sridevi Nrithya Kendra, Mangalore, under the guidance of Shantala Awardee Late Guru Smt. Jayalakshmi Alva and Late Guru Sri Ramakrishna Alva.
Today, as we look back on this treasured memory, we celebrate not only an Arangetram but the beginning of a lifelong journey dedicated to Bharatanatyam.
From a young disciple to Karnataka Kalashree Guru Dr. Suparna Venkatesh, this path has been shaped by devotion, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to preserving and promoting Indian classical dance.
Forty-five years later, the blessings, teachings, and values imparted by her revered gurus continue to guide and inspire generations of students through Sai Arts International.
With gratitude and reverence, we remember Shantala Awardee Late Guru Smt. Jayalakshmi Alva and Late Guru Sri Ramakrishna Alva, whose vision and guidance nurtured countless artists and created a legacy that lives on through their disciples.
A cherished memory. A humble beginning. A legacy that continues to inspire. 🙏✨
