My go-to, absolute favourite places to order from or dine in at in Bombay. You have to save this post if you plan to visit!
Okay, maybe a little biased cause this is the list of places which are predominantly , , or have menus which are very vegan-friendly.๐ฑ๐
Oh, & also, it's not asian cuisine! Phew!๐
Letโs do this long-overdue post, shall we?
1. GREENR - Fell in live with this place in Gurgaon - the Bombay one is thankfully equally great.
MUST TRYs - The Shroom ball ๐, shroom balls ๐, the , oldโDelhi Bhurji roll, & the tiramisu.
2. Yogisattva - An all-vegan, all , & all-delicious elaborate menu. Itโs possible to eat from here everyday & not get bored.
Favs - the truffle ๐ , breakfast !๐ฎ
3. Seeds of Life - Posted a lot about this before too - must try.
Favs - Meant to , ๐, Truffle ๐ ๐ (seeing the pattern here?๐
), the tofu Bhurji/scramble, -chocolate pulp ๐!
4. Farmer Cafe - โ โ Posted a lot about this one as well before. Not a vegan cafe - but a health-food cafe mostly.
Favs - The grilled , ๐, ALL vegan desserts - especially mango-chocolate tart, Hazelnut Chocolate , Raspberry .
5. Za'atar- Newfound ๐. While I still love hummus THE MOST (for real), they do ONLY Classic - with toppings, & they are GOOD! They do - with mushrooms. Delicious.
Favs - Hummus with Olive & sun-dried ๐
, ๐ , .๐ง๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ซ
6. The Bodhi Cafe - Didnโt try too much stuff - hopefully next time. Loved it - cause itโs all vegan, all yumm (not all-healthy - BUT customisable to pretty healthy). Also, a lot more pocket-friendly!
Fav - The multigrain sub with loads of as my choice of main.๐ญ๐ฅช
7. Starbucks- DO NOT JUDGE ME. They have . JUST for that I shall continue to go. I WILL NOT apologise for my love for โ , people.
Fav - Duh, Nitro cold brew all-day, every day (if I could๐).

My first encounter with idiyappams was back in 2014 when I went to Alleppey with my teammates for a Lead's wedding.
I was always amazed at hoe the made idli.shaped Noodles. Or noodles idli. Whichever floats your boat.
Grew particularly fond of them during my TTC in Varkala in 2018.
Since then - been asking my cook to make it every other day at home.
Now with Covid in the air, and no cook around - I decided to experiment and try it.
Turns out - all my muscles and strength weren't enough for these babies.
I salute and respect anyone who makes these often. Even my cook. Daaaayam. Admiration to another level.
I love these because -
A. They taste amaze.
B. They are healthy, filling, yet super light on the tummy and easy to digest.
C. It's rice! Okay made with rice flour.
D. That gluten-free life.
Our very own, traditional gluten-free noodles.
