We’ve been around for 20+ years, but we still operate like a startup - building, experimenting, learning and figuring things out every day in the wonderfully challenging niche that is the Indian cycling industry. 🚴‍♂️

And that’s exactly what makes working here interesting.

We’re looking for people who want to grow, take ownership, do interesting work and make things happen. You’ll have the opportunity to really own your role, while also getting your hands dirty across other parts of the business and seeing the impact of your work.

We’re riding with the good folks at HCL Cyclothon Tour Of Nilgiris tomorrow.

Along with a short 20km city ride, we’re bribing riders with Khara pongal, Sweet pongal, Idli/vada/coffee and more 😝 Coffee mid ride, free community T-shirts and a free entry to the Tour Of Nilgiris for one lucky rider.

These community rides are being run across multiple bike shops - great way to create more community and get a bunch of new folks riding alongside building visibility for their tour 🙌

40 DAYS AGO, LOMESH COULDN’T SWIM.
Read that again.

Not “he was learning to swim.”

He couldn’t swim.

The last time Lomesh M.B. had been in water was as a kid, bobbing around in his village well — like kids do.

Then he came across an Ironman ad.

Three sports.
One ridiculous challenge.
A world he knew absolutely nothing about.

And somehow, instead of thinking “That’s crazy.”

Lomesh thought: “I’m going to do that.”

The next day, he signed up for Ironman Goa.

Then he walked into BUMSONTHESADDLE and picked up a Specialized road bike.

But there was one tiny problem.

He still didn’t know how to swim. 😳

So he signed up at his local swimming pool.

Day one: He got into the water.

And started learning.

Fast forward just 40 days

🏊‍♂️ He learnt to swim.
🥉 He won BRONZE in a 4km Aquathon.
🚴‍♂️ He got on a road bike.
🏃‍♂️ And the very next day…

He did his first-ever triathlon with BERGMAN BENGALURU

And he’s not stopping there.

Before Ironman Goa rolls around this November, Lomesh has already signed up for another triathlon AND a half marathon.

What started as a mission to simply tick “IRONMAN” off the bucket list has completely changed.

It’s become a passion.

He’s not just trying to finish one event anymore.

He wants to go deeper.
Get better.
Learn the sport.
And see just how far he can take this.

And perhaps that’s the most inspiring part of Lomesh’s story.

You don’t need to be ready.

You don’t need to know how.

You don’t need to have been doing it for years.

Sometimes, you just need to decide:

“I’m going to try.”

Because as Lomesh says: “If you put your mind to it, everything is possible.”
