Yeeesss I did it guys ! 🤩
My first Half Marathon, 13 Miles / 21 Km done & dusted.
Don't have any words to describe this feeling. I've gone through so many injuries and so much pain.
This HM was mean to be done in December of 2021 but due to my ligament injury, I'd to take a rest for a couple of months and doctor advised me not to do long running for 6-7 months.
I waited so long to break this MILESTONE.
My initial plan was to run 15 Km but my body & My mind motivated me to go even more extra miles.🏃♂️
Seriously I don't even clicked the single photo of me today because of heavy rainfall.
This run is dedicated to each & every single runner out there who break their sweat everyday. You guys are my inspiration & motivation. Just keep supporting me & keep inspiring.
Right now I'm in a hangover of this 21K.
I'm gonna enjoy this moment 😅

( Well plan was to do just a easy 3k recovery run, but my body was Fully pumped up & just after half a mile, I decided that I needed to shift gears. 😀 )

5K Run ( Uphill )
Uphill sprinting builds muscular endurance and muscle strength because the major muscles of the body must work harder to propel your body up a hill. The slope of a hill targets the glutes, hamstrings, quadriceps, calves, core and upper body and, similar to weight training, allows you to build more muscle.
It's good for testing your limits & increasing your stamina 🤟
Do include this type of hill climb / uphill run in your running sessions.
