NITI Aayog, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, will host the NITI–SSM Workshop on SDG 5: Gender Equality on 7 May 2026.
The Workshop will be graced by Smt. Annpurna Devi, Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Government of India; Dr. Manisha Vakil, Minister for Women and Child Development, Government of Gujarat; and Dr. M. Srinivas, Member, NITI Aayog, along with senior officials, policymakers, and development partners.
The Workshop will enable States to strengthen data and evidence-led decision-making and target interventions more effectively to accelerate Women-Led Development.
