This year, the Madras Boat Club celebrates its 150th year, and has the privilege of hosting the 75th ARAE on its waters. The competition will be ferocious.
The Amateur Rowing Association of the East (ARAE) is an association of virtually the premier rowing clubs situated in the eastern hemisphere and the ARAE has been the most prestigious inter club rowing event in Asia. The FEARA (Far East Amateur Rowing Association) events for Master rowers in the age group 35+ and the super Masters in the age group 50+ will be held concurrently. Participating teams
