He became famous for extensively modifying his appearance to resemble a tiger or other feline.

Avner underwent numerous body modifications, including extensive facial tattoos, piercings, altered teeth, a split upper lip, and facial implants designed to change the shape of his forehead and face. He also wore removable whiskers attached through facial piercings.

His transformation was reportedly connected to his personal identification with a tiger and his interest in Native American traditions, although some claims about his ancestry and the exact motivations behind his transformation have been disputed or difficult to independently verify.

Media reports often claimed that Avner spent around $200,000 on his transformation, but this figure is not firmly documented and should be treated as an estimate rather than a confirmed total.
